Property Summary
From the iconic rooftop lighthouse to its location on an island between three roads, the Lighthouse at King’s Cross lies opposite the UK’s ninth busiest transport hub. This workspace occupies one of the most unusual and well-connected buildings. The Lighthouse, once a beacon for Victorians buying oysters in the building, is now a guiding light to flexible workspace of the highest quality. The calming palette of earthy tones and biophilic design create offices, meeting rooms and coworking spaces with a restorative feel. Aside from being incredibly practical, this workspace offers every kind and size of business multiple choices for working adaptably, hybridlike, and traditionally.
The four-storey building is constructed in a flatiron shape, maximising the light from windows on all sides. The additional lower ground floor includes bike storage and showers with towel service, and complimentary toiletries. Lockers are available for daily hire for people travelling via King’s Cross or nearby St Pancras and Euston with a suitcase.
Turn right at the reception desk and up some steps, and you enter the spacious coworking space. The first thing you notice is the cultivated jungle, which makes the most of natural light permeating the room from floor-to-ceiling windows at every angle, offering views over Pentonville Road, King’s Cross Bridge, or Gray’s Inn Road.
We divided the workspace into zones with collaborative spaces, soft seating options, booths, work benches, and comfortable seating areas radiating from a kitchen. The drinks machine dispenses iced coffee, coffee and tea syrups, and teas and other hot beverages.
There are four meeting rooms and three private phone booths are on this floor.
